Being a band led by dancers they have unique insight into the best elements of music for dancing without all of the chest puffing from musicians with something to prove. Playing at exchanges, workshops and dances throughout the southeast they are acutely aware of what dancers want and willing to adjust to keep the room going all night.
Michael Gamble
Michael Gamble is a world-renowned swing DJ who has had the pleasure of doing his thing for events large and small for the better part of 10 years. He has played for countless exchanges and workshops in over 35 US cities, including the Rhythmic Arts Festival, the International Lindy Hop Championships, and Lone Star Championships. Michael believes in playing music that was created with swing dancing in mind. Overall, Michael relishes in the unlimited joy and energy of all styles of swing music, and looks forward to sharing that enthusiasm with the dancers he meets at each swing event. As a dancer, Yossef knows the joy of riding along
from one great song to another, hearing just the right music to inspire
you to keep on boppin' (whilst possibly also moppin'). As a DJ, he's
happiest when creating that experience for the crowd on the floor. And
as a big ol' geek, he's ready to have involved, rambling conversations
about music, DJing, and dancing just about anytime. In fact, he's a big
fan of people approaching him to talk about a track that was (or should
have been) in his set, just as long as they don't mind being put on hold
while the next song gets cued up.
