We encourage you to check out the dance schedule and pick up a dance pass which will save you a few $$. You can always pay at the door if you can only make it to a couple dances.

The Hop Shop is back for it's fourth year of breaking the mold of what it means to be a jazz dance workshop. Started in 2008 by one of the founders of Lindy Focus, Sosh Howell, the Hop Shop is designed around a class that used a rotating small group instruction format. Now it is sponsored by ASEDA and is made possible by a group of people from around the country who are, essentially, dance education nerds.
Broadened to span a weekend, the model puts you in a small 'pod' of students with a diverse level of dance experience. Your pod rotates to each teacher for an intense class of personalized instruction. Essentially what you are experiencing are five group private lessons tailored to you and your 'pod' from select world-class teachers - Evita Arce, Andy Reid, Michael Gamble, Jaya Gamble, and Mike Faltesek. Paired with designated practice time, live music, plenty of social dancing, and lots of southern hospitality, the Hop Shop is designed with your dance education in mind.
